Alfredo Arrdguin was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico in January of 1935. He lived there for thirteen years. He then moved to Mexico City, where he lived until he was 23 years old. Since 1959 he has lived in Seattle, where he received his B.A. and M.F.A degrees from the University of Washington.
